Bella’s Cancer Inspired a New Career Path

Bella’s Story 🌈

My beautiful Kelpie, Bella, developed a Mast Cell tumour at the base of her right ear. She was 13. We had the tumour and the ear removed and were told that with chemotherapy she might live another year. We decided that we would not pursue chemo due to her age and other physical issues. We were told about Dr. KK by a local animal physio, Brooke Marsh, and thought we would see what we could do with Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Bella was already having acupuncture for arthritis and it was very helpful.

Dr. KK told us that she could support Bella’s immune system with Chinese herbs and acupuncture. She also said she could assist Bella’s physical well being and resilience with TC and acupuncture. This would keep the cancer at bay and support her to fight any recurrence.

Bella lived another two years in good health and was able to have great quality of life. We were told that perhaps with TCVM she would just get tired and slip away when it was her time. This is exactly what happened. Bella died peacefully at home without a recurrence of her cancer. Her treatment was a gift to us all.

My daughter has since gone on to become a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist. In retrospect, she feels Bella led the way to her professional choice, about which she is passionate.

In gratitude,
