KK’s Holistic Veterinary Service is the embodiment of Dr. Kaori Kanemitsu’s commitment to Veterinary Science.

Her passion for all animals, big and small, has led her on a journey from her birthplace in Japan to Queensland; where she completed her degree in Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland in 2007.

After completing her bachelor degree, Dr. Kaori went on to study Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine with world class practitioner Dr. Huisheng Xie in the USA. She is now a certified Chinese Herbal Veterinarian with a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. This is a rare skill as only a handful of other veterinarians in Australia possess this same qualification. In 2013, Kaori also completed studies at the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society where she became a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist.

In her quest to provide the best possible care to all animals, Dr. Kaori is constantly studying new treatments and regularly attends conferences and seminars around the world, both as a participant and a lecturer.
