Bear with a Ligament Injury

“My baby boy is Bear Luke. He is a 25 month old Newfoundland. He underwent surgery for a right cranial cruciate ligament injury in Dec 2021. Vet and Specialist advised that it would be highly likely that he would injure his other side within 12 months. We were looking for help in providing him a quality of life with him being so young as the vet and specialist also advised that he would suffer from hip dysplasia later in life. ” 😱

This handsome youngster, a 2-year-old Newfoundland Dog is in serious trouble.

He cannot really stand properly or walk for a short period of time. (Dr.KK describes his walk as a Big black fluffy penguin march) We needed serious attention here! 🔎

Dr.KK met Bear in May 2022. It has been 6 months since the operation and he is not in good spirits. He also had been having gastro issues and hot spots on and off.

His whole family was involved and committed to getting Bear better. After his first treatment, he was so much happier, then second, third… Today he is smiling much better with much-improved hips and legs. 😍🤩🥳

His gastro issue also started to settle down to the point that his mum did not have to keep getting him outside in the middle of the night for pooping business.

After multiple treatments, Dr.KK wanted to take Bear to the next level… Calling in Michelle Ricardson for animal chiropractic work. Amazing after the first treatment, Bear manages to spread his back legs which are more relaxed and moving better. 👏

What a dedication to this big teddy Bear Luke. We are in this working together 🙏

Let’s continue to keep his smile and big bark in our journey. ♥️
