Shadow

My German Shepherd, Shadow, is now 11 years old.  It has been a long, hard and expensive struggle to get him there, and in the last 9 months or so I have had the help of Kaori Kanemitsu.

Shadow has suffered all sorts of problems, including  an immune disorder, causing pannus/keratitis in his eyes, which I now presume may have been caused by the so-called “preventative medicines”, such as heart worm injections and tick treatments.  He has also had 2 cruciate ligament surgeries on his left leg, due to trauma injury, and countless other ailments.

About a year ago, he slowly started to deteriorate, becoming very lethargic and morose and I thought I might lose him.  I began talking to some friends, who recommended that I take him to Kaori, a holistic vet, who they called Dr. KK.

Although I had no great expectations, I was amazed and relieved to see that Shadow responded immediately to the acupuncture that Kaori did on him and continued to improve with the Chinese herbs she treated him with.  Now 9 months on he is still managing to swim in our pool every day to help keep his leg muscles toned, and he loves to plays tennis with me and also manages to do a daily walk, albeit a bit shorter than in his youth.

Had I not found out about Dr. KK, I doubt that I would still have my beloved Shadow with me today.
