8-Year-Old Female Domestic Short-Haired Cat “Daisy”
Problem: Inflamed Bladder
Treatment: Food Therapy, Herbal Medication
Daisy had an idiopathic UTI (inflamed bladder) and even though she was put on conventional medicines for 6-8 weeks the inflammation kept recurring. Daisy’s regular vet told her owner that there was nothing more they could do for her and suggested euthanasia to put her out of her misery.
The owners decided to pay a visit to Dr. Kaori as a last resort in an attempt to save Daisy. Daisy was put on special herbal medicines and the inflammation subsided completely over a 2-4 week period. She remained on herbal medicine and special food therapy for the next 4-6 weeks. Much to the delight of her owners, she is now completely healed and perfectly happy. She is continuing on a raw food diet with occasional herbal medicine to maintain her stress levels so the UTI inflammation doesn’t return.
