Is Your Dog Anxious, Nervous or Struggling to Settle?
Maybe they’re constantly following you around the house.
They’re pacing, panting or finding it difficult to relax.
Storms, loud noises or being left alone are becoming stressful.
Or perhaps you’ve simply noticed your fluffy seems more worried or unsettled than they used to.
If anxiety, nervousness or changes in behaviour are starting to affect their quality of life, there may be more ways we can support them.
Does This Sound Like Your Fluffy?
Pacing or struggling to settle
Panting when they’re not hot
Shaking or trembling
Following you around the house
Hiding or seeking somewhere safe
Becoming distressed when left alone
Fear of storms, fireworks or loud noises
Becoming nervous around unfamiliar people or places
Changes in sleeping or settling at night
Sometimes anxiety isn't obvious.
It's simply that your fluffy doesn't seem as relaxed or happy as they used to.
A Different Way of Looking at Anxiety & Nervousness
At KIBO, we don't look at anxiety as simply a behaviour problem.
The KIBO Holistic Vet Team looks at the whole fluffy — their health history, behaviour, lifestyle, diet, sleep and environment, alongside their individual TCVM pattern.
From there, we create a treatment plan specifically for them.
Veterinary Acupuncture
A gentle approach used as part of an individual treatment plan to support overall wellbeing and balance.
Tui Na & MPS Therapy
Gentle hands-on therapies that may form part of their individual treatment plan.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Individually selected according to your fluffy's needs and TCVM pattern.
Food Therapy
Nutrition recommendations tailored to their individual needs and TCVM pattern.
Every fluffy is different — their treatment should be too.
REAL FLUFFIES. REAL STORIES. 🐾
MEET BUSTER
Buster was around 8 years old when, after losing an eye and then being repeatedly bullied by neighbouring cats, his confidence changed dramatically. He became very timid, reserved and easily frightened,
“Within six weeks of taking the herbal medicine, Buster had improved so much. His fur was so much better and in a lovely condition. He had stopped excessively licking and returned to normal grooming.”
-Lisa Ward, Buster’s Mum

Meet Jinx 🐾
“He would vomit multiple times a day, he had diarrhoea constantly and his behaviour was changing, he was becoming more and more anxious and fearful”.
“After just a week of a new diet and herbs I had a whole new dog!!
Jinx began to poo like a normal dog, he was loving his new food and was becoming less and less anxious as each day passed”
Shannon - Jinx’s mum

What Happens at Your First Visit?
Your first consultation isn't a rushed appointment.
We take the time to understand what's happening with your fluffy and what may be contributing to their anxiety, nervousness or changes in behaviour.
1. We Listen
We go through their history, current medications, diet, lifestyle, behaviour and the changes you've noticed at home.
2. We Assess
The KIBO Holistic Vet Team carries out a veterinary and TCVM assessment to better understand your fluffy's individual needs.
3. We Create their Plan
Depending on what we find, their personalised care may include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, food therapy, Tui Na or MPS Therapy.
4. We Guide You From There
You'll understand what we recommend, why we're recommending it and what the next steps are.
No two fluffies are the same. Neither are their treatment plans.
They Can’t Tell Us Why They’re Anxious.
But Their Behaviour Can

If things that never bothered them before are suddenly frightening…
Or if you’ve simply noticed they don’t seem as relaxed and happy as they used to…
It’s worth finding out what may be going on and how we may be able to support them.
