For a long time, I didn’t realise how much pain I was actually living with. It wasn’t dramatic pain. It was the kind you quietly adapt to. Tight hips. A lower back that never truly relaxed. Digestive issues that came and went. A constant sense that my body was always slightly on edge.

I’d had a C-section years earlier. The scar looked healed. Life had moved on. I never thought twice about it. But my body hadn’t.
