Bella Appo – Skin and Ear conditions

My name is Bella Appo. I am a Maltese Shih Tzu. My mum and dad adopted me in April 2015 and unfortunately, I couldn’t tell them any of my medical history. But it soon became obvious that my ears were very, very sore. They took me to a local vet who, although he was very friendly, would give me an injection every second week, but my ears never improved. After eight months, Mum and Dad were worried about what those nasty injections were doing to the rest of my little body.

I didn’t have a very good appetite, so Mum starting buying my food from Inner Wolf and Steph recommended the best vet ever, Dr KK! Dr KK diagnosed me with Liver Heat/Yin deficiency and prescribed a yummy diet to go with my Chinese Herbs. Now I love my food and Mummy says it is so easy to prepare!

Dr KK gives me acupuncture now and then, but it doesn’t hurt at all, and she has taught my Mum how to give me little massages. I just love the back massage.

My ear infections gradually cleared, and even with all the heat and humidity this summer, they have been beautifully clear. I am on a maintenance program with Dr KK to keep me fit and healthy, and everyone I meet thinks I am a puppy. I will be 11 years old this month! Thank you Dr KK, we love you. Xxx
